To our Oakledge Neighborhood Elves –Â
Contest:Â In the spirit of holiday cheer and in the absence of neighborhood gatherings, please join the Oakledge community in the 1st annual house sign (mailbox or lamp post) holiday decoration contest.Â
Use your creativity, imagination or just boredom-busting ingenuity to deck out your sign, mailbox or lamp post between now and December 25th.
Decorations should be visible from the road for all to enjoy ! The award categories will be judged on December 26th (judges are in the process of being nominated and confirmed). Winners in each category will be showcased with full bragging rights on the Oakledge resident website.Â
Award categories:
- Clark Griswold Award (in reference to the movie âChristmas Vacationâ )
- Best Use of Nature
- Most Creative
- Most Original (Not your usual, everyday Christmas décor)
- Best of Show
