Memorial Day Party Cancelled And Waterfront Guidelines

The health, safety and well-being of all Oakledge residents continues to be a top priority of the Board of Trustees. Given the state of New Hampshire’s ongoing social distancing recommendations (https://www.governor.nh.gov/), we are canceling the Memorial Day Party and are keeping the clubhouse closed.

We are going to have Glenn Halleck start re-opening the waterfront, which includes cleaning off the docks and putting out the chairs and cushions. While it seems that COVID-19 virus doesn’t live as long in outside conditions, there is still a real risk in contracting the virus from contact with surfaces. Use the chairs AT YOUR OWN RISK. Bring towels for the chairs and use hand sanitizer.

For the well-being of the community, the Board is also asking everyone to:

– Wear a mask when walking on the walkways

– Do not access or use the toys in the toy shed

– Limit each deck/pod to one family

– Do not use the grill or congregate around the picnic tables

– Be diligent about social distancing and respect others

– Use the community kayaks, paddle-boards, paddles and sunfish at your own risk

– Remind your children that these rules apply to them as well

As a reminder, people coming into New Hampshire to stay, no matter were they are coming from, are asked to self-quaratine for 14 days. This means not going to the store, post office, etc. View more detail on self-quaratining. (https://www.dhhs.nh.gov/dphs/cdcs/covid19/self-quarantine-covid.pdf)

We appreciate your help,

The Board of Trustees
